About the Asset VUE Team

Mike Murphy, Chairman

With over 35 years of engineering, sales and marketing of power systems solutions for mission critical applications, Michael is responsible for the strategic directions of DVL and the general management of the DVL team of Data Center Engineers.

Michael also serves as CEO of DVL Automation, a regional and nationwide leader in the field of Verifiable Sustainability for energy management systems in LEED certified buildings. He has been responsible for increasing sales at a CAGR of 20% per year over the past 10 years.

Michael currently serves on the board of directors of Copperhead Digital/Trucom Metro Fiber and is a member or Alumni of several leading organizations such as TEC, ASHRAE, and the 7x24 Exchange. He also is on the Board of the Bucks County Opportunity Council and the current President of the Independent Association of Liebert Representatives, an industry group. Michael is also an active Angel Investor thru the Delaware Crossing investment group and participates on the Ben Franklin Technology Partners Physical Sciences Advisory Board.

A Cornell University graduate with a mechanical engineering degree, Michael's career started with Detroit Diesel Allison Corp as an R&D engineer for Diesel Engine combustion and emissions development, followed by a stint in National Accounts Service for on-highway trucks. He entered engineered equipment sales with Penske GM Power in New York, followed by Liebert New York, before joining, and then acquiring DVL, Inc. and then founding DVL Automation with his longtime business partner, Michael Beck.

Michael resides in Solebury, PA with Cindi, his wife of over 30 years and their three dogs. They have three children – Sean, Ryan and Laura, with the boys being happily married and Laura currently attending Grove City University in western Pennsylvania.

Sean Cotter, President

With 19 years of business development, IT leadership and entrepreneurship, Sean is responsible for the strategic directions of Asset VUE and the general management of the Asset VUE team.

Sean has served on the board of directors for Title Alliance Holdings a regional title insurance firm and served as a liaison for the technology transition team upon their acquisition by First American. Sean currently serves on the CIO Advisory board for PACT, is the founding member of the Greater Philadelphia Qlikview Users Group and the Delaware Valley Data Center Users Forum. Sean is also an active member in the local 7X24 Exchange, AFCOM, and the CIO Roundtable group of GPSEG (Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group).

A Saint Joseph's Haub School of business graduate with a master's degree in business, Sean's career started by forming a successful regional outsourced IT firm serving the small to medium sized market while still at Widener University. After nearly 10 years of growing and operating this venture, Sean sold his business to his lead consultant to formalize his business acumen. Sean then moved to a role as Director of IT then CIO of the DVL Group seizing the opportunity to work with one of the most well respected management teams in the technology field.

Sean resides in West Chester, PA with Kelly, his wife of over 11 years and their three children Kylie, Kelsey and John.

Gary Aron, Vice President of Business Development

Gary Aron has been a leader at some of the most successful corporations in North America. He started at Bell Atlantic/Verizon in IT Operations and after 22 years at Verizon moved onto Bank One/JP Morgan Chase and then Comcast as Vice President of Data Center Operations.

In his tenure at these corporations, his responsibilities have included developing and leading large organizations, driving corporate strategies as well as operational improvements and efficiencies while managing very large budgets to support his area of responsibility.

Over the years Mr. Aron's team has designed, built and managed some of the largest and most innovative data centers in the world and he has a proven track record in his field of expertise. He and his teams were instrumental in driving many innovations with DCIM tools.

Bobby Kitchen, Director of Product Development

Bobby Kitchen has over 10 years of experience in software design and data management in the manufacturing and sales industries. His areas of focus has included client development for Microsoft Business Solutions, Data Centers and various Business intelligent platforms. His innovative techniques and design have provided customers improved efficiencies and process flow fueling increased profitability.

Mike Brode, Vice President of Sales

Mike Brode has assumed a variety of strategic sales leadership roles over the course of a successful and diverse business career.  He has built and led teams within the Fortune 500 of corporate America (Xerox, Glaxo SmithKline/Allergan) to industry leading medical device companies (Cardiac Science Corporation) to fast-growing, emerging-growth start-up technology companies (Personic Software, Fireclick).

Under his leadership, Mike has built teams that have been defined by their consistency of performance, their creative and consultative problem-solving attributes and their well-established reputations for integrity, commitment and professionalism.  His experience with managing complex business challenges and inserting himself completely into establishing collaborative solutions with both clients and partners has resulted in some of the most prolific alliances in the medical device and technology sectors that he has worked within.

He is best recognized for his sincere passion around satisfying customers through creative communication and cooperation and delivering reliably on goals and expectations time and time again.  His diverse business acumen and long track record of successful transactions brings a solid level of leadership to Asset VUE’s ambitious growth initiatives.

Mike resides in Harleysville, PA with his lovely wife, Lynn, and has 2 children, Tyler, preparing to graduate from the business school at Penn State University and going to work in the logistics field for Dow Chemical and, Alyssa, beginning her Master’s Degree pursuit in Voice Performance as a soprano at Cal State Northridge.  Mike roots tirelessly for his Villanova Wildcats from where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.
